Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) I purchased this camera from Wal-Mart in Starkville, Mississippi. This is the second of this identical model I've purchased. I have multiple spots I'd like to monitor and since the camera is only $67.74, it's more convenient simply to get multiple cameras, rather than constantly move the camera around.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam MC2-GWM Trail Cameras (t-z): Foremost, the low cost of the camera makes it much more feasible than any other. The quality of photos is acceptable and overall performance has been satisfactory. One other plus for this camera over others is it is rather miserly with battery use. I normally can get four or five rolls out of a set of eight generic brand AA batteries. Set-up and operation of the camera is simple. Even programming multiple exposures (one to nine at a time) and time between "captures" (one to 60 minutes) is easy for the "technically challenged", such as myself. The event counter goes up to 99, which tells me how much activity a trail had that wasn't captured on film.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam MC2-GWM: Until I got the hang of it, the film was a little difficult to load. Now that I've done it a few times, it's no trouble. Fortunately, it's easy to tell if the film is set right. If it's not ready to wind, the display screen will show an "E" rather than "0".
Trail Cameras (t-z) MC2-GWM quality: For the price, the construction is outstanding. The unit closes tightly and internal components are securely sealed.
MC2-GWM summary: I've tried some others, and this model is, in my opinion, a "Best Buy". At this price, a person can buy several for the same price as one of some other models. I'll be getting another soon.
