Purchase: Binoculars I don't know if this is the proper forum for this, but I would like to caution your readers about buying (or attempting to buy) from Binoculars.com I am currently attempting to resolve a 5 month old problem with them over a set of binoculars I ordered from them over the internet. I placed the order, reccived confirmation on the order, and only after I checked back with them, later on, as to the status of my order, was I told that they would not give me the binoculars at the price I placed the order for, but if I still wanted them I could buy them for approximately an additional $250. (How convienient, I can no longer get the same set on sale somewhere else) These binoculars were advertised for $499 (the price I agreed to pay) I find it curious how they baited me in with that price and then switched the price that they would actually sell them to me for, after I had a purchase confirmation. They have a lowest price guarantee. They're not matching the advertised price which I purchased the item. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, nope, that guarantee means nothing either. How good is a company that will not stand behind their advertised price or two of their other guarantees. Potential customers, beware, go to someplace more reliable, someplace where a guarantee means something.
