Purchase: i got this reel because the other day i was out on the river fishing for steelies and there was this one guy who had one of these and he was killin them and after tryin it out i bought one. at the time it was around $200, a good deal for a centerpin.
Things I like about the okuma aventa vt1002 : this reel is the easiest centerpin to use and also has great stlye ad i love the colour. it spins for ever and there is little to no mentainance.
What I don't like about the okuma aventa vt1002 : The reel scartches easy and any one buying should get a case.
aventa vt1002 quality: The Aventa series is made from solid aluminum bar stock,with two stainless bearings,and is available in two styles.Both models available for a fraction of the cost of the typical centerpin reels.
aventa vt1002 summary: This is a great reel for the money and if you fish the great lakes it is definitely the way to go.
