Muzzy 100 grain 3-Blade Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Muzzy
Muzzy Model: 100 grain 3-Blade
Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads I purchased my Muzzy broadheads from a local archery shop. I paid $36 for a pack of 6.
Things I like about the Muzzy 100 grain 3-Blade Broadheads: This is the second season that I've used Muzzy broadhead. They fly as good or better than field points and penetrate very deep. I have taken three deer- 2 does and one buck- at ranges of 10,30, and 40 yards. Every arrow completely penetrated, even on a tough angling shot that hit the hip bone on the exit at 30 yards. All deer expired within sight traveling less than 50 yards. Awesome blood trails. ALso, for practice it is easy to change your blades.
What I don't like about the Muzzy 100 grain 3-Blade: Nothing, excellent design.
Broadheads 100 grain 3-Blade quality: Flawless! The blades are interlocked and extremely sharp. The shorter length of the blades gives this broadhead awesome accuracy. When they hit a deer you hear the thump and see a big gray hole open up. They really put a hurt on.
100 grain 3-Blade summary: I shoot a Mathews @ 70 pounds of draw, and with my given arrow length and weight I'm scarring 270 fps. These brodheads fly true out beyond 40 yards. This year I took a 40 yard shot on a buck. The broadhead broke a rib on entry and exit and passed all the way through. The buck ran less than 30 yards and was dead within 5 seconds as if he was shot with a rifle. The blades destroyed both lungs and severed his major broncial tubes. That's performance!!!! Blood trail from where he stood to where he dropped!
