Cuddeback Digital 3000 Trail Cameras (a-f)
Trail Cameras (a-f) Manufacturer: Cuddeback
Cuddeback Model: Digital 3000
Review Category: Trail Cameras (a-f)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (a-f) I purchased the unit from a local sporting goods dealer for $399.99 plus tax. My intentions were for it to help scout and inventory the numbers and size of deer on my hunting property. Thereby helping determine harvest goals.
Things I like about the Cuddeback Digital 3000 Trail Cameras (a-f): The thrill of checking the picturews. It was wonderful. I enjoyed reviewing the pictures on my Leaf River Picture Viewer immediately and then later by T.V. or computer for greateer detale. It became a highlite of each visit to the property. I also have pictures of two typical ten point bucks that were never seen during the hunting season. One has half inch bumps that hopefully will be scoreable G-5s next year and the other has weard burr points. It also identifies several deer that needed to be harvested and taken out of the breading pool.
What I don't like about the Cuddeback Digital 3000: The flash card changing instructions need to be streamlined and provided on a small weatherproof card. I have tried two small locks and and find neither fit the unit.
Trail Cameras (a-f) Digital 3000 quality: I was pleased with the construction and quality of the unit. The pictures have been great.
Digital 3000 summary: I researched several different units before deciding on the CB Digital. Some of the comments in other reviews alarmed me however I have been very pleased. I haven't used the advanced mode and doubt that I have a need to.
