Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I purchased this unit from Cabelas to get pictures of all the critters roaming around in the woods behind our house.
Things I like about the Moultrie GameSpy 200 Trail Cameras (m-s): I do not like anything about the camera. They should consider painting one side with a bullseye so you can use it for target practice. This product maybe was designed to keep UPS in business as it will go from the factory to the store to you and back to the store and back to the factory etc.
What I don't like about the Moultrie GameSpy 200: I received the first one packed together with a 16 pound item. When i fired it up the screen would only say "check flash". Needless to say this went back to the store. The second one i received would "work" without a memory card installed. My test pictures were not that great and i practically had to jump up and down before the camera would trigger (after a long delay). Camera failed to work with a memory card installed. Claimed the card was locked when it was not. Also the flash failed the self diagnostic test and would not work with the memory card installed.
Trail Cameras (m-s) GameSpy 200 quality: The unit is cheaply made. Switches are cheap and flimsy. Battery and attachment cables barely fit in the compartment. Picture quality is average to below average (if you can get yours to work).
GameSpy 200 summary: Apparently i learned my lesson and you get what you pay for. This unit is priced cheap for a very good reason. If you want to be frustrated and try your luck on receiving one that works then i recommend this product. The bottom line...save up another paycheck and get a better brand.
