Purchase: Fishing Rods This rod was purchased as a gift by freinds vacationing in South Carolina. It was purchased at a Bass Pro Shop for less than $20.
Things I like about the Bass Pro Shops Power Plus Fly Rods Fishing Rods: High flex fly rods are not very common and are usually fairly expensive. I have been wanting to try one for years and wish I would have got one a long time ago. The high flex ads a degree of dificulty and challenge to sport.
What I don't like about the Bass Pro Shops Power Plus Fly Rods: The plastic base. But for 20 bucks, what do you expect.
Fishing Rods Power Plus Fly Rods quality: Overall construction is good and has held up well to extensive use over the past year. The plastic base will be the first part to go, so I don't change the reel that often.
Power Plus Fly Rods summary: If you haven't tried a high flex rod, give it a try, you will probebly enjoy the challenge. And the price is right to start.
