Shakespeare Tiger Combo Rod and Reel Combos
Rod and Reel Combos Manufacturer: Shakespeare
Shakespeare Model: Tiger Combo
Review Category: Rod and Reel Combos
Purchase: Rod and Reel Combos I received this rod-n-reel combo for Christmas 2002. At 20$ from Wal-Mart it was a great bargain.
Things I like about the Shakespeare Tiger Combo Rod and Reel Combos: With an oversized spincast reel and 6'6" medium heavy rod this combo really casts GREAT. The ball bearing design makes for easy smooth retrieve.
What I don't like about the Shakespeare Tiger Combo: The bait clicker broke after only three fishing trips.
Rod and Reel Combos Tiger Combo quality: Except for the bait clicker, which was a very thin piece of metal, breaking so easily it's a high quality combo.
Tiger Combo summary: For the price you really cant go wrong! I use it mostly for catfishing and it really gets the job done. The biggest cat I've caught on it so far has been a ten pounder and though it was a great fight the rod-n-reel stood the test easily.
