Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) I bought this trail camera from Dunhams Sports. Had been looking at digital trail cameras and came across this one for about $79 and thought that I would give it a try. Wanted to see what was around the camp.
Things I like about the WILDVIEW .3 VGA DIGITAL CAMERA Trail Cameras (t-z): What I like about this unit is its easy to set up and it take good pic for the price of the camera. My camera Trigger very will … You all have seen the ads about Cuddeback and how they set up camera next to each other, will I did this with my other trail camera (Moultrie Gamespy 200 3.1 Megapixel) . The Wildview took 27 picture and the Moultrie Gamespy 200 took 3...yes 3. Now keep in mind that this camera was just over twice the price of the Wildview. The Wildview is a very very good camera for the money. I have use two type of SD cards and they both work will.( SanDisk in a 256MB and the Lexar in a 128 MB)
What I don't like about the WILDVIEW .3 VGA DIGITAL CAMERA: With the price of the unit you really can’t complain about anything…but here it goes. The flash is not very good and battery life is poor. That is it. You can brighten the pictures with your photo software and as far as battery life I use rechargeable battery .The rechargeable that I use I got from Wal-mart and they last about a week in northern Michigan. Now there is a new camera from Wildview that is a 2 mega pixel and it has the date and time on each picture. That is nice to have. But the flash seem to be the same. Now I seen they make a Stealth Cam 12- volt battery case and cables. However I do not know if this works with the Wildview . If you look at the trail camera online at Cabela’s they show this as another way to hook up a battery . But the flash seem to be the same.

.3 VGA DIGITAL CAMERA summary: You can not go wrong with this unit if you just want to see what is out there. If you want the date and time get the newer unit , I will.
