Traditions Thunderbolt Black Powder
Black Powder Manufacturer: Traditions
Traditions Model: Thunderbolt
Review Category: Black Powder
Purchase: Black Powder I bought this rifle from Bass Pro Shops and had it delivered to my house. I had a CVA cap lock that failed to fire one too many times -- it was a piece of junk. My State Colorado finally legalized in line rifles for hunting so I thought I would check one out. I was not really sold on them, and I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. This gun was on sale for $99.
Things I like about the Traditions Thunderbolt Black Powder: It is extremely easy to clean and accurate out of the box. It uses #209 shot gun primers and always goes off when you pull the trigger.
What I don't like about the Traditions Thunderbolt: There is nothing I don't like about this rifle!!
Black Powder Thunderbolt quality: Great quality and construction. It is made very well.
Thunderbolt summary: I shot this one time at the range then it started to rain, so I had to quit. I sighted in at 100 yards and wasn't sure if I even hit the target. The second time I shot it was at a deer at 100 yards, dropped it right where it stood!!
