Purchase: I read a review of the lure on a fishing forum. (They claimed it worked on Freshwater Bass and saltwater fish. I ordered on line from the company www.quasijig.com $3.99 each
Things I like about the QuasiJig QuasiSpoon size 2: The components are top end, fast shipping. The action of the lure is unreal. I have never seen a spoon with as much action as this one. I caught over a dozen trout on the first trip with this lure. The fish really attacked the lure. I also like the fact that it can be worked extremely slow OR fast. The company claims "sub-surface walk the dog" action and that's a good description of the lure. Haven't had the chance to try it in fresh water yet, but I have no doubt it will catch bass.
What I don't like about the QuasiJig QuasiSpoon size 2: The only draw back was that the fish tore up the soft plastic tails. It came with 2 but I went through them after about 6 fish. I used some other tails that I had that were a little bigger than the ones supplied and I couldn't work the bait as fast as before. However, I e-mail the company and asked what tails they used. They responded back and instead of trying to sell the tails, told me they use Bass Assassin (or Saltwater Assassin).
QuasiSpoon size 2 quality: Construction was A+, quality hooks, plastics, and metal. I have paid much more for other lures that were not as high of a quality as these.
QuasiSpoon size 2 summary: This lure is much more than I expected. I hadn't heard of them before but am sold now.
