Leaf River Trail Scan Trail Cameras (g-l)
Trail Cameras (g-l) Manufacturer: Leaf River
Leaf River Model: Trail Scan
Review Category: Trail Cameras (g-l)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (g-l) I bought this camera from Cabela's and I believe it cost 250.00 dollars.
Things I like about the Leaf River Trail Scan Trail Cameras (g-l): I wish I could say something good about this camera but I would be telling a lie!! I guess I could say that it seems like a solid camera, fairly easy to use.
What I don't like about the Leaf River Trail Scan : Trigger speed, trigger speed and trigger speed. This camera is sooooo slow that literaly 9 out of 10 photos have absoultly nothing in them. For a trail camera it is worthless no matter how you position it. I set it up at my feeder with similarly poor results. I timed it by walking in front of it and using a stop watch...a full 8 seconds before the thing took a picture, so unless a deer beds down right in front of the camera, forget it. The picture quality is also mediocre at best.
Trail Cameras (g-l) Trail Scan quality: Seems well constructed overall.
Trail Scan summary: This camera is worthless. What good is any camera if it is so slow that 90% of the pictures are of nothing?
