Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) Found the new 4.1MP Trail camera by Moultrie and distributed by Cabela's on sale at the Dundee, MI location for $129, usually $169. I was looking to get the Game Spy 3.1MP camera, but these were $40 cheaper, but did not have temp or moon phase which I didn't need as long as they keep printing newspapers.
Things I like about the Moultrie 4.1MP Digital Trail Camera Trail Cameras (m-s): After putting one camera on a corn pile and the other on a food plot, I got 6 pictures of deer and turkeys at the food plot, with one misfire over 5 days. The camera on the corn pile had 32 photos of various deer and even one of a trespasser! The quality is excellent, allowing one to zoom in for detail. The night photos are a little quirky, but hey, who hasn't worn the beer goggles themselves? It doesn't seem to affect the top of their heads, the horns or lack thereof is readily apparent and there usually is several from different angles to allow a good look. I put mine on five minute intervals, but the camera seems to vary from two to 5 minutes, depending on its mood.
What I don't like about the Moultrie 4.1MP Digital Trail Camera: The huge glowing eyes could be eliminated, but that doesn't affect the ablity to see what is in the area.
Trail Cameras (m-s) 4.1MP Digital Trail Camera quality: So far so good - seems to be water tight, I wish the brackets to attach it were larger so that it could be locked directly to the tree.
