Moultrie Game Spy 200 Digital Camera Trail Cameras (m-s)
Trail Cameras (m-s) Manufacturer: Moultrie
Moultrie Model: Game Spy 200 Digital Camera
Review Category: Trail Cameras (m-s)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I bought this camera from my local fur shop, Halford Hides (previously Slutkur Furs). Paid $170 Canadian. I bought this camera because I was interested in managing the quality of a whitetail herd on some of my land, and am glad I did!
Things I like about the Moultrie Game Spy 200 Digital Camera Trail Cameras (m-s): Extremely user-friendly, easy to set up and use. Provides excellent pictures (3.1 mega pixels) and videos, both in the day and at night. Nice bright flash, effective to about 25-30 feet. Laser aim feature. With a 6 volt rechargeable battery and a solar panel as accesories, I never have to worry about my battery running dead, and missing that all important buck! Weatherproofed well with rubber weatherstripping and o-rings, and a durable plastic camo case. A three step setup is all that is required to get your camera ready to snap photos. Three different resolutions. You can also set the camera to take 1-3 sequential pictures (I believe about 12 seconds apart). Optional time delay between pictures (1-60 minutes, I think). Stamps temperature, time, date, location (via changeable camera ID) and moon phse onto every picture.
What I don't like about the Moultrie Game Spy 200 Digital Camera: The mounting cords aren't too terribly impressive. Shoestrings are really all that holds your camera onto the tree.
Trail Cameras (m-s) Game Spy 200 Digital Camera quality: The camera was constructed very well, and camera quality was impressive. As mentioned above, the mounting cords were not to my liking, and could have been better.
Game Spy 200 Digital Camera summary: To fix the mounting cord problem, I simply used small ratchet straps. Be sure not to tighten it too much! A great camera for the price paid, and it certainly will not be the last Game Spy 200 Digital Camera that I buy!
