Redhead Carbon Fury Arrows Arrows
Arrows Manufacturer: Redhead
Redhead Model: Carbon Fury Arrows
Review Category: Arrows
Purchase: Arrows I bought an 8 pack of these at the Bass Pro Shops store in St. Charles, MO. I don't remember how much I paid, sorry!
Things I like about the Redhead Carbon Fury Arrows Arrows: The arrows never need to be straightened, and I know if my shooting is off it is not caused by a bent arrow.
What I don't like about the Redhead Carbon Fury Arrows: Well, if your arrow somehow gets cracked hitting a log or something you should be able to tell (at least I could the time I cracked one). The bad thing is that if you accidentally shoot it again (which I did) the arrow will vaporize in a wisp of carbon scented kinetic energy. Thank God the remnants of the arrow blew apart the sight on my bow and didn't go into my wrist or hand! The other thing I don't like about these arrows is the fact that I have lost at lest one insert pulling these arrows out of a target -- they don't seem to be glued in very well at the factory. Believe I have also lost fletching, but that's a little more to be expected.
Arrows Carbon Fury Arrows quality: Pretty good, except for the aforementioned glue stuff.
Carbon Fury Arrows summary: I am not sure whether you can "stump shoot" with carbon arrows or not. The one I cracked I believe hit the wooden edge of a target when it broke. The other thing I don't like is that they have the possibility of shattering if they are damaged. Other than that, so far so good. I have used them a fair amount for target shooting. I will give them a 4/5 because along with this I think the inserts should be glued better.
