Cuddeback 1.3 megapixel didital Trail Cameras (a-f)
Trail Cameras (a-f) Manufacturer: Cuddeback
Cuddeback Model: 1.3 megapixel didital
Review Category: Trail Cameras (a-f)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (a-f) Aquired the unit from Cabelas for around 400$
Things I like about the Cuddeback 1.3 megapixel didital Trail Cameras (a-f): When it was working, had good battery life in in cold weather. I had good luck with the unit until recently. Trigger is fast. Operation was simple once you get used to it, seemed pretty secure when screwed to tree and locked up,plus password function is nice feature for theft protection
What I don't like about the Cuddeback 1.3 megapixel didital: Time consuming waiting to go through the different screens.Getting Compact flash card out of the unit is a real challenge, practically need a pair of tweezers to remove card.Needs a more frequent trigger than 1 minute.
Trail Cameras (a-f) 1.3 megapixel didital quality: Construction is ok, once camo tape applied easy to hide. Quality good, water tight.
1.3 megapixel didital summary: Here's where I see the problem, maybe it is just me but Service is a joke. Took one whole week just to get through on the phone to talk with someone . Told me they would call me back, when I had the unit in my hands. They never did call me back. After waiting three hours for a call that never came, I spent an additional hour cycling through to talk with service tech.Told me what I already knew, unit didn't work ,but you need an authorization # to send unit back, so prepare to be on the phone for a while. Was told to send a check for 60$ in to get repaired. I hope the repair service is better than what I have experienced so far and what I have read from other reviews.
