Cuddeback No Flash Trail Cameras (a-f)
Trail Cameras (a-f) Manufacturer: Cuddeback
Cuddeback Model: No Flash
Review Category: Trail Cameras (a-f)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (a-f) Bought my camera through a friend who is also a dealer for $304. Have always heard there were very large deer in a ravine close to my home. Placed camera down there and in one night saw two 8's one 10 and a 13 point.
Things I like about the Cuddeback No Flash Trail Cameras (a-f): 1) The no flash feature is ideal, I have had past flash cameras where the first picture is a large buck, and the second picture is of the large buck with its tail up, never to be seen again. This never happens with this camera. 2)The amazing trigger speed. Deer that are in a hurry down a trail will still be captured fully, not just the tail end. I have even caught birds as they fly by. 3) Battery life. I live in Northern wisconsin, and as everyone knows it gets very cold. Battery life should be affected, however in this camera it is not. I had the camera set in 1 min between pictures followed by 20 seconds of video for one week it captured about 500 photos and 500 videos in that time and battery level was still on 3 out of 4.
What I don't like about the Cuddeback No Flash: 1) The battery housing. When using the torque screw to tighten camera to tree, if you put it in too tight the batteries could loosen and turn camera off while you are not there to monitor.
Trail Cameras (a-f) No Flash quality: The contruction of the unit is well done. It does everything it claims to do. (keeping out water, or the elements in general.) As far as quality goes, the unit is very easy to program and also pictures are of an extremely good quality. The quality is not affected even with use of Infrared.
No Flash summary: This camera is an extremely good buy, especially versus the competitors models.
