Purchase: Fishing Rods it is an 8 foot 6 inch medium action spinning rod. i bought it so i could get a wider spread for trolling. the rod was $45 and paired it up with a pflueger trion reel.
Things I like about the shakespeare intrepid im-7 Fishing Rods: found it to be very good for speed trolling for northern.very good action and decent hook setting power.
What I don't like about the shakespeare intrepid im-7: nothing. went out and bought another one just like it.
Fishing Rods intrepid im-7 quality: it is a rack rod but i refuse to pay 2 to 3 hundred dollars for a rod. not to mention what the wifes reaction would be
intrepid im-7 summary: good enough that i'm going to try it on musky this summer
