Daiwa Steez Fishing Reels
Fishing Reels Manufacturer: Daiwa
Daiwa Model: Steez
Review Category: Fishing Reels
Purchase: The first time I saw it at my local fishing tackle shop I wasn't sure what to think of it being so light and all. I finally shelled out the bucks and am I glad I did.
Things I like about the Daiwa Steez: It's the lightest fishing reel I've ever owned. I believe and don't quote me this reel is less than 6 ounces. Perfect for my ultra-light style of fishing. I love fishing with a real light rod and reel making any fish put up a great fight.
What I don't like about the Daiwa Steez: Maybe I should blame this on genetics and not the reel, however I have large hands and sometimes the handle seems a little small especially after casting all day. Other than that one complaint I really like this fishing reel.
Steez quality: Excellent, like I said earlier at first I had my doubts about how it would hold up. At several torture sessions these reels hold up well.
Steez summary: Great reel for a light rod. Reminds me more of a surgical tool than a reel at times however when the fish are biting it is a reel.
