Purchase: Bought this reel from Profishing.net, it was shipped from Japan and it arrived in excellent condition, took about 6 days total. Total price including shipping was $180.00. Bought this reel because i already loved the USA Sustain model and this was the Japanese version of it so i decided to give it a try.
Things I like about the SHIMANO TWIN POWER 2000: The reel handles extremely well, i used it for drop shotting small 3 and 4 inch baits in 50 to 70 feet of water and it performed exceptionally well, it handles both the fluorocarbon and braided lines perfectly and it is very smooth, I also feel that the drap on this real is smoother than on the Sustain.
What I don't like about the SHIMANO TWIN POWER 2000: No spare spool.
TWIN POWER 2000 quality: Construction is super solid, like all Shimano high end spinning reels, the color is metallic gun metal and it feels super solid.
TWIN POWER 2000 summary: Get one, it's cheaper than the Sustain and it is smoother, the only draw back is that it does not come with a spare spool.
