Purchase: Archery Equipment I bought this at an outfitter store. I paid about $70. When i first saw it i thought it was a great idea, and it is, but there are a few things about it that I truly dislike, causing me to return mine.
Things I like about the Trophy Ridge Nitro Extreme Sight Archery Equipment: The product was designed quite well, and upon first glance seems like it is the ultimate sight. I liked the inline pin technology at first, but it was to be a draw back. What was truly excellent was the no tools adjustibility.
What I don't like about the Trophy Ridge Nitro Extreme Sight: The inline technology was quite useless if you are planning to shoot when the sun is in your eyes. This is because you will only see the silhouette of the one pin, making it impossible to tell the pins apart. Another thing was that i was going thourgh glo sticks like crazy to combat this downfall. Another thing as well, the sight is mounted about 6 inches from the riser, too far.
Archery Equipment Nitro Extreme Sight quality: The quality was quite good, the constructions was very sturdy. I had no problems mechanically.
Nitro Extreme Sight summary: Bottom line, do not purchase. You will not like it when you discover shooting in the sun leaves your sights useless. I brought mine back because they were not good enough for extreme hunting. But for target archery they are ok.
