Wolverine Mammoth Hunting Boots
Hunting Boots Manufacturer: Wolverine
Wolverine Model: Mammoth
Review Category: Hunting Boots
Purchase: Hunting Boots I received these hunting boots as a gift from a friend who I wouldn't accept money from for helping put a new deck on his place.
Things I like about the Wolverine Mammoth Hunting Boots: These boots are very well insulated, yet I can still walk in them unlike some other hunting boots on the market. I only need a thin pair of socks and I can stay in my tree stand all day without any great discomfort.
What I don't like about the Wolverine Mammoth: They are relatively big in size although I should say I wear a size 12 in a hunting boot.
Hunting Boots Mammoth quality: Excellent quality. No signs of drying or chapping like some of my other hunting boots have done in the past. I treated them with Camp Dry before using them the first time and since then these boots have been too muddy to apply any sort of boot dressing to. The seems on these boots are as tight as the first day I bought them. The soles aren't showing any sign of wear even though I put them on for shoveling snow around the house and misc. projects.
Mammoth summary: Very pleased with these hunting boots. I have another pair for bow hunting, but for stand hunting these boots are hard to beat. One last thing, the sizing is true to size so you don't necessarily need to buy a half size large just to fit two pairs of socks.
