Purchase: Fishing Reels I bought this reel at a retail fishing store in Oxford, Al. I paid 429.95 plus tax. I had done a lot of research on this reel and thought it was a good deal. I got it on 2/27/04 fished it 2/28/04.
Things I like about the Shimano TE DC 200 Fishing Reels: This is the best reel i have ever fished with. It threw great right out of the box. I was using Stren Magnathin 16lb line and throwing a 4in Finnesse worm with 1/4oz. weight Texas rigged. As of yet i was unable to get it to backlash. Smooth would be an understatment every thing i hoped it would be. I have this reel on a 6.5 foot G.Loomis IMX rod.
What I don't like about the Shimano TE DC 200: Nothing not to like.
