Berkley Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed) Bass Lures Baits
Bass Lures Baits Manufacturer: Berkley
Berkley Model: Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed)
Review Category: Bass Lures Baits
Purchase: Bass Lures Baits I was at Bass Pro Shop looking for some plastic's and strolled upon these. I wanted to try them out because they were saturated in juice, and had a real bait look and feel. I paid around $5.50 a pack.
Things I like about the Berkley Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed) Bass Lures Baits: I bought a package of the Berkley "Gulp" 7" cherryseed worms to try out. I rigged a texas rig, threw it out, and in less than 30 seconds snagged a 3 lb. Large Mouth. To make a long story short, I caught 9 Large mouth's between 1 1/2 lb. and 3 lb's in 1 1/2 hours. This is not a fish story either. I've never had as good of luck with any other plastic. Just to make sure it wasn't just a lucky feeding frenzy, I've used them ever since with just as good of luck. I would recommend this plastic to anyone. They are a little softer than the typical plastic, which means you might go through more since they tear easier, but they are worth the price.
What I don't like about the Berkley Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed): There really isn't anything I don't like about this product. They have very realistic movement.
Bass Lures Baits Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed) quality: The only downfall about these plastics is that they are soft. Once you bring in a fish, the worm is pretty much done in. They really aren't reusable. You must keep them in the original package so they don't dry out. They are in the "Plastic" category, but really aren't plastic. They are a fully biodegradable material
Gulp 7" turtle back worm(cherryseed) summary: Bottom line is: I would recommend any fisherman, novice or pro to make this a part of their tackle
