Purchase: Black Powder I bought my x-150 at Mahoneys sporting goods in Abingdon VA for $225 because i needed to upgrade my old CVA buckmaster.
Things I like about the winchester (cva made) X-150 muzzeloader Black Powder: First off, i topped it off with a VX-III 2.5-8x 32mm, and i shoot hornady SST 250 grain sabots. i liked it bec. it was fairly cheep, it shot with my dads TC Omega (about 1 1/2 in at 100yds 100 grains of 777), and it was a lil heavier therefore had less recoil. worked flawlessy this season when i took a doe. (was 45yds away, double loung, went 25yds and dropped)
What I don't like about the winchester (cva made) X-150 muzzeloader: when it is fired, some of the powder residue is shot onto the bottom of the scope (the residue is off the 209 primer)the safety came loose and needed to be ajusted (wich was easy)
Black Powder X-150 muzzeloader quality: pretty good quality for $225, since the safety work i have had absoultely no problems.
X-150 muzzeloader summary: great muzzeloader. just cant complain for the $
