Stealth Cam I390 - 'STC-AD3' Trail Cameras
Trail Cameras Manufacturer: Stealth Cam
Stealth Cam Model: I390 - 'STC-AD3'
Review Category: Trail Cameras
Purchase: I bought this camera used on Ebay from a Sportsman's Club that was "upgrading" to Infrared cameras. I paid $80 for this used camera. New price at Cabela's is $179.99.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam I390 - 'STC-AD3': I love the quality photos you receive. And with the 1-3 burst mode it offers, you can catch that buck following a doe! It has a good PIR motion detection, too. Very nice 90 ft. bright flash!
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam I390 - 'STC-AD3': Could be a little quicker to activate when PIR detects heat/motion. Sometimes the 3 photo burst mode is a little slow between photos, but sometimes you can get 3 photos in 2 seconds!
I390 - 'STC-AD3' quality: Good durability and water stays out. Easy to used programming and it takes 8 D-cell batteries, so will give you lots of pictures before battery life goes dead.
I390 - 'STC-AD3' summary: I honestly don't see anything wrong with this camera. "Upgrading" to Infrared flash doesn't seem that necessary to me. I've never had a deer spook from the standard flash. I've even had them come right up to the camera for a second or third look after their photo was taken the first time! Best of all, you can get color day & night photos with standard flash. Infrared only offers black & white night photos. Overall, this camera was a great investment! A little faster trigger time, and it would be unbeatable!
