Purchase: Rifle Scopes Purchased it directly from Peloi off their website www.peloi.co.nz and paid $129 for it including mounts. I wanted a low profile vari-power scope that would give clear images and not get hooked up in thick bush to fit on a Winchester .308.
Things I like about the Peloi Huntsman 3-9x40 AOE Rifle Scopes: The love affair with my Peloi started from day one, I have always bought high dollar value scopes as I am a professional shooter, this scope was the most inexpensive scope I have ever owned but it has the clearest image and best performance in poor light conditions out of them all. I tested it in the twilight on the range in my backyard and I could still see the target clearly even though it was almost dark. It is also tough enough to stand up to hard work I have thrown at it. The AO is great for getting a perfect image and when zeroing it on the range, I was really impressed with the clarity. Comparred it against my Bushnell Dusk and Dawn and the Peloi won by a long shot for seeing in the dark.
What I don't like about the Peloi Huntsman 3-9x40 AOE: The mounts they supplied make it sit a bit high on my rifle but because of its adjustable objective lens it is a bit higher than most other scopes. About 3mm lower would be nice.
Rifle Scopes Huntsman 3-9x40 AOE quality: The scope is well finished with a rubberised eyepeice that can be set for individual differences in eyesight, this and the vari-power settings are smooth and easy to use, they have the feel of quality. The coin adjustable turrets have a clear click for each movement and are well made as are the metal covers. The lenses look very clear and with the green multicoating you can see these are a well made set of optics.This scope stands up to my freezer test for fog proofing with flying colours.
Huntsman 3-9x40 AOE summary: I have owned alot of scopes over the years and this might not have the fancy name or high price tag but it holds its own with alot of the best. It is well made and a good tough scope that will stand any test. Good to see a 3-9x40 with diopter and adjustable objective, Peloi have got a great little scope and I am thinking about their 1.5-6x32 Scout as my next scope.
