Things I like about the G5 Outdoors Tekan II Mechanical Broadhead Broadheads: I really like the way this mechanical is made, from a solid piece of steel that has a forged cut on contact tip. The razor blades deploy very easily and are held at just the right angle as to allow them to do their intended job. These heads work and deploy extremely well regardless of how steep angled the shot may be, leaving excellent entrance and exit wound channels and excellent blood trails. They come with prctice blades that are very simple and quick to change back and forth. Another very important attribute of the Tekans are their awesome flight. Mine flew even better than my fieldpoints straight out the package.
What I don't like about the G5 Outdoors Tekan II Mechanical Broadhead: I really can't say anything bad about a product that has worked so good for me.
Broadheads Tekan II Mechanical Broadhead quality: They have got to be one of the most solid mechanicals on the market today. The solid steel body with its cut on contact head are all in one piece and this head remains all in one piece all the way back into the arrow. There are no apparent weak spots that I have seen in other mechanicals. The expandable blades are very tough and when deployed are set in an angle that requires them to cut at optimum.
Tekan II Mechanical Broadhead summary: I have tried many broadheads bot mechanical and fixed and none of them have ever gotten my attention and respect as much as the G5 Tekans. I use them and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a solid steel broadhead with excellent flight and cut on contact head. As far as deer hunting goes these are the ones for me.
