Purchase: Tree Stands I purchased the stand due the fact that it had a system for leveling the stand.I found it on the internet and went to the Harrisburg sports show to see the stand.
Things I like about the equalizer treestand leveling treestand Tree Stands: The stand packs in and out very quitely,Also it attachs to the tree with ease of operation.It has a well thought out design and fits onto most trees.
What I don't like about the equalizer treestand leveling treestand: I am a large man weighing in at 275.At the sports show it seemed easy to level the stand with the cranking device but out in the field it can be difficult to use the platform system. It is hard to reach and it is geared with plastic gears which require your weight to be off the stand before leveling. This seems unsafe and the plastic makes me unsure of the stands reliability.
Tree Stands leveling treestand quality: other than the plastic components it is great.
leveling treestand summary: The stand comes close but needs some work on the platform leveling system.The welds are strong and I am not sure where the stand is made. At the show I was led to believe it was made in the USA but there is a sticker on the stand that says proudly made in Taiwan. Also some of the plastic is bothersome.
