Purchase: Archery Equipment I bought this for fifteen dollars after losing a nice doe last year after a pretty good shot. I wanted a way to track anything I shot, especially in low light conditions.
Things I like about the Bow Tracker Arrow Track Archery Equipment: The unit was basically a spool of string that clamped on to the bow and attached to arrow. The marketing on the box was great and made it look like this was the end all.
What I don't like about the Bow Tracker Arrow Track: This is single use item, but after looking at it for a couple of days I decided to shoot an arrow with it to see how it reacted. I couldn't risk waiting for the big one to come along and then it not working. I hooked it up and took careful aim at my deer decoy targer. My release was flawless which is more than I could say for the Tracker. I heard the string quickly begin to unwind right about the time my arrow began to head off target. I soon heard a thwack as my arrow veered off target. The arrow made an about right and hit the ground three yards from the target. The string had broken which is exactly what it's not supposed to do.
Archery Equipment Arrow Track quality: Gargage. I shared my thoughts with the shop at bought it off as well.
Arrow Track summary: What if I had waited until the "Big One" came along in October? I can't believe anyone would manufacture this let alone sell it. I'm writing this to keep other Sportsman from getting ripped off. Spread the word!
