Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) The origional camera was lower grade Stealth Cam purchased at Dick's Sporting Goods in 2001. It was a Christmas gift. The camera was junk and didnt work so Stealth Cam was kind enough to upgrade me to the STC-AD3.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam STC-AD3 3.0 meg Trail Cameras (t-z): The STC-AD3 took great pictures and has excellent battery life with the 8 d cell set up, As long as your on a feeder location.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam STC-AD3 3.0 meg: I am now on my 4th STC-AD3 !!! 4th !!! I have returned all of them for the camera blacking out, frying it's self and now some type of fluid leaking from the camera area. No, It's not the batteries. The customer service is horrible and will not stand by its product, Yea they will send you out another one but, come on 4 cameras all bad. Either refund my money or upgrade it .
Trail Cameras (t-z) STC-AD3 3.0 meg quality: Good housing, but spiders like the lense and ants get in through a small hole in the bottom.
STC-AD3 3.0 meg summary: Do not buy this camera !!! Its a waste. Stealth Cam customer service will treat you like a jerk. I have got some nice pics over a corn pile but if your looking for a " Trail Camera " and trying to catch a pic in action, forget it , you will get a pic of nothing or a tail as already passed.
