Purchase: Bass Fishing Rods I purchased this rod from the bass pro shop. I held it in hand and compared the feel and sensitivity to numerous other rods, and the lightening rod seemed to be a very good rod - especially for the price!
Things I like about the berkley Lightening rod - med Bass Fishing Rods: I am a avid fisherman and a jig is by far my favorite weapon of choice. It is commonly known that it behooves a jig fisherman to have a very sensitive spinning rod, but strenght cannot be overlooked. This lightening rod has proven to be outstanding in both categories. Two recent trips brought home limits of big slab crappie and the rod performed flawlessly. I wouldn't trade it!!!
What I don't like about the berkley Lightening rod - med: I have not found anything about the rod that I don't like. It is a top notch performer!

Lightening rod - med summary: The lightening rod is a outstanding value that could be used for a wide variety of fishing techniques and has the strength to handle most any gamefish. If I were to have to depend on only a single rod for a serious fishing expedition; I would have no worries about the lightening rod's dependability and capabilities.
