Magellan Meridian Marine GPS

GPS Manufacturer: Magellan
Magellan Model: Meridian Marine
Review Category: GPS

Purchase: I received this unit directly from the manufacturer. They normally retail for $320 or so. The company sent it to me for use with our fishing club.

Things I like about the Magellan Meridian Marine: This unit is awsome! It is super accurate and very detailed. It has a ton of memory for storage of waypoints, backtracks and routes. You can label all of your favorite spots and easily mark new ones. It is also very easy to use. The kids in the club borrow it from time to time to try it out. Some of these kids are lucky they can chew gum and walk, and they haven't had any problems with the Meridian so far. It has a map feature that you can zoom in or out of depending on the detail you want. It shows roads as well as navigational aids on the water. This baby does it all!

What I don't like about the Magellan Meridian Marine: I can't think of anything that I don't like about the Magellan Meridian Marine GPS.

Meridian Marine quality: It's water proof. It floats. It's rubberized for solid handling even when wet. It has been used and abused by various high school kids as well as myself and still works as if it were new.

Meridian Marine summary: The bottom line on this GPS is that I would highly recommend it to anyone who fishes. It is very accurate and dependable. I have had it for a year now and it has seen a lot of miles, and so far, I have no complaints.
