Purchase: GPS I bought this unit from a local sporting goods store here in Las Vegas, NV for around $250 at the time as they were on sale.
Things I like about the Garmin Rino 120 GPS: I really like the fact that it comes with a radio so I can keep in touch with others in the field if someone calls me while I am busy with the gps feature.
What I don't like about the Garmin Rino 120: Only thing that is small negative for me is the short battery life when the radio is constantly being used.
GPS Rino 120 quality: Can say enough about how rough and tough this unit is because I have dropped it several times with no ill effects. Great little unit!
Rino 120 summary: I definitely recommend this unit to all my friends who gold prospect as well as hunt for meteorites. My current Rino 120 is my second one as I gave my first one away to my niece once she saw how easy it was to use. We also find it a fun way to keep in touch while on the road to a hunting site as we can send our locations to each other to see where we are at any given time.
