Things I like about the Bushnell Trailscout 11-9900 Trail Cameras (a-f): When the cam works it produces great pics. Very user friendly and secures well to a tree.
What I don't like about the Bushnell Trailscout 11-9900: I've had two cams in two years. Both had to be sent back to Bushnell. The first one had a leak in the IR filter lens cover. The pics were foggy. The second one is still at Bushnell waiting a replacement. When I called they told me the circuit board went bad. I feel if Bushnell is putting their name a product, it should be quality. Going with a Moultrie next. I attribute most of that decision based on the reviews from the site.
Trail Cameras (a-f) Trailscout 11-9900 quality: The sealed housing seemed to work alright. I had a little moisture inside with my first cam, hardly any at all with the second.
Trailscout 11-9900 summary: Do not get this cam! I've had two in two years, had to send both back to Bushnell.I've been waiting more that two months for the return of my second cam. The construction is good, it very user friendly, sets up very easy, security is good and when it does work the pics are good. However it's time to move on to another manufacturer.
