NAP Spitfire Broadhead Broadheads

Broadheads Manufacturer: NAP
NAP Model: Spitfire Broadhead
Review Category: Broadheads

Purchase: I paid 32.99 at a local archery store about 3 year ago. I liked the 1 and half inch cut and accuracy of a field point.

Things I like about the NAP Spitfire Broadhead: I liked the way it looked because there were no o rings compared to the Rocky Mountain Assasins I used with good results also. I'm 55 years old been bow hunting since I was 24. I like the tip and sharpness of the spitfire and it has not opened prematurely yet. I've made several pass thru shots on deer from climbing stands and now my favorite hunt is from ground blinds which also were pass thrus. The deer were shut down quickly plenty of blood to trail, the shorter the blood trail the better the hunt at my age. There was no damage to the spitfire it was sharpened and snapped back into place and ready to go. The flight of the broadhead is as good as the field point I shoot 30 to 40yards with confidents. I plan to let some fly in September 08. I have not shot the spitfire thru the camo mesh on my Penthouse Ground Blind. I zip open the window a little and at 20 to 30 yards I get my shot off easy.

What I don't like about the NAP Spitfire Broadhead: I can't say anything bad about the spitfire it makes a big hole, and even fits nicely in the bow quiver. The flight is wonderful.

Spitfire Broadhead quality: The broadhead tip is very hard and delivers good penetration for me. The blades are as sharp as the thunderhead which is my favorite fixed head.

Spitfire Broadhead summary: I've shot the spitfire from a 25 year old Bear Whitetail 2,a PSE overdraw bow and hopefully I will launch some from my new Parker XP Wildfire in 08. I've shot deer braodside from the ground blind and always at an angle from the tree stand with satisfactory results. I've looked at other mechanical heads but have not bought any sticking with the spitfire.
