Purchase: Shooting Accessories I purchased my Patternmaster choke tubes from The company website. I read many forums on waterfowling and patterning buckshot and it got great reviews. Both were about $80.00 each.
Things I like about the Patternmaster Choke Tube 12 Guage, 3.5 inch model Shooting Accessories: The choke allows me to shoot buckshot, large steel shot, and turkey loads very effectively. I can put this one choke tube in and it satisfies all of my needs.
What I don't like about the Patternmaster Choke Tube 12 Guage, 3.5 inch model: There is no downside to this choke. It gives you excellent patterns at close and distant ranges. The reason why is because it is not a constriction, but a wad grabbing design which allows the shot to exit the barrel undisturbed.
Shooting Accessories 12 Guage, 3.5 inch model quality: The tube is made of stainless steel. It comes in silver or black.
12 Guage, 3.5 inch model summary: This choke tube is worth every penny. When I first purchased my 3.5" magnum shotgun, I was having a difficult time shooting effective patterns with the factory choke tubes. I even purchased a special choke tube for goose hunting and was not happy with it. I was missing geese that I easily killed using a 2.75" load. I also tested the Patternmaster choke tube against a turkey choke and found that it was #1 and #2 in my best patterning results.
