Purchase: Rifle Scopes I was in need of a more powerful scope for my trip to Newfoundland. I searched for scopes with magnification of greater than 10X because I may be taking shots up to 300 yards. I saw this scope on clearance sale at Cabelas for $189.00
Things I like about the Cabelas Alaskan Guide 4.5X14X44 AO Rifle Scopes: I like the clarity of the scope.
What I don't like about the Cabelas Alaskan Guide 4.5X14X44 AO : So far I have no complaints.
Rifle Scopes 4.5X14X44 AO quality: The scope is lightweight for its size and it has an adjustable objective which keeps the target clear at all ranges and magnifications.
4.5X14X44 AO summary: I have checked around and cannot find a scope of this description for less than $400.00. I recently sighted in my Remington 760 with the Cabelas Alaskan Guide scope and was able to shoot a 1.5" group at 100 yds. This I feel is excellent for a pump gun. I was not able to get this accuracy before I mounted this scope. The 14X magnification really helps improve accuracy if you are not a marksman.
