Purchase: Archery Equipment I used a summit hot dot but the battery kept becoming loose. I was looking for a new sight with less room for failure. I bought this G5 from Cabelas for $189.
Things I like about the G5 OPTIX XR WITH FLOATING HYBRID PIN Archery Equipment: Super light with harmonic dampner built in. Great micro adjustments, and easy to adjust the individual pins. built in led light thats adjustable for different lighting conditions.
What I don't like about the G5 OPTIX XR WITH FLOATING HYBRID PIN: Nothing so far
Archery Equipment OPTIX XR WITH FLOATING HYBRID PIN quality: Magnesium frame seems to be very light but very rugged.
OPTIX XR WITH FLOATING HYBRID PIN summary: I have owned 4 different sights in the past 3 years; a Trophy Ridge Micro Matrix, a Keller Pendulum, and a Summit Hot Dot. I doubt I will use anything other than G5 in the future, I am very impressed with this product and this company. I am looking at purchasing more products from this Company!
