Purchase: Hunting Boots I searched for a good pair of hunting boots for awhile. I typically hunt Oregon, Washington, and Idaho so I need a pair of comfortable boots that had some insulation. I went to a few stores and tried on boots. I finally found the 859 Elk tracker and tried them on. As soon as I got them on, I knew that these were going to be the ones for me. They were comfortable from the start. I went to another store and ordered them. I think I paid just over $200.
Things I like about the Irish Setter Boots Elk Tracker 859 Hunting Boots: When I received them, I decided to wear them in a little walking around and fishing occasionally for about a month just to make sure that come hunting season they would be good to go. A little before hunting season I also waterproofed them more, they never leaked before but, I hate cold wet feet. This year I was hunting Idaho. I went on my trip and my feet never got sore from climbing up and down the hills, never got wet walking through small creeks, my feets stayed warm, and they were great even when it came time to pack my 4 point elk out. I would buy another pair in the future.
What I don't like about the Irish Setter Boots Elk Tracker 859: The only thing that I might change or would want to try on them would be a speed lace up system. This is probably the only thing more that I would even want to try on them.

The sole is flexible and provided enough support to climb up steep slopes, Bulls-Eye Air Bob Carbon Rubber Sole, aggressive Bulls-Eye Air Bob & Broadhead Air Bob Tread. They provide great comfort with the Comfort Cork EVA With Memory Foam. This product is good quality.
Elk Tracker 859 summary: After all the searching for a good pair of hunting boots, I found the pair for me. These have been the best pair of boots I've owned. I've had them for 4 years now and never had a problem. I just follow the instructions to clean and waterproof them and they have been great. This is a great product, and I would buy another pair.
