Purchase: Binoculars I bought these binoculars from Rocky Mountain Sports in Casper Wyoming about a year ago. I was looking for a good quality pair of binoculars under $1,000 and after doing some research I bought these for $785.
Things I like about the Pentax 10x50 DCF SP Binocular Binoculars: The build quality is very good and the size makes them easy to pack around all day. They are waterproof and fog proof which is very important in a pair of binoculars used primarily in the great outdoors. The ten power is great for picking prairie dogs out of the hills at 200 yards while the 50mm objective gives you that few extra minutes at dusk.
What I don't like about the Pentax 10x50 DCF SP Binocular : My only real complaint with these binoculars is that dirt gets in the adjustable eye pieces and is very difficult to remove. It would be nice if I knew how to remove them for cleaning.
Binoculars 10x50 DCF SP Binocular quality: These are built as well as any of the higher dollar binoculars I have looked at. They are rubberized to handle the bumps and dings that anyone packing there binoculars around will experience. The glass is very good and I find that they work very well in both full sunlight and a very little light.
10x50 DCF SP Binocular summary: I would recommend these binoculars to anyone looking for a quality pair of optics at a fair price. They are well built, have all the features of binoculars twice as expensive, and will last you years. After using them for a year there is not one minute I regret spending the money on them; my only regret is not buying them sooner.
