Things I like about the powerelt bullets 245 grain HP Black Powder: East to load, very little fouling, excelant results.
What I don't like about the powerelt bullets 245 grain HP: i don't dislike any thing about the product.
Black Powder 245 grain HP quality: shot 15 rounds before used for hunting. 50 - 180 yards. recovered most slugs,all fully intact in green pine stump 7 - 10 inchs penitration using 100 - 150 grains of powder.
245 grain HP summary: Shot first deer at 110 yards,100 grains powder. Gun used, CVA Hunterbolt Magnum. 120 lb doe pass thru broadside double lung shot, slug not recovered. 165 lb 8 pointer 150 grains powder, 60 yards, quartering to angle. slug penitrated left shoulder and both lungs. found between skin & ribs of far side, 75% intact. dropped him in his tracks. 160 lb 8 pointer 85 yards, 100 grains powder. broadside passthrough shot, slug not recovered, deer was easely. i have no reason to try any thing else. many friend with same results.quit simply a good product at a good price.
