Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc Purchased at Sportsmen's Warehouse. Recieved from my wife as a Christmas gift to use for hunting as I am 65% deaf in both ears.
Things I like about the Walker's Game Ear II Game Ear II Hunting Gear Misc: The unit worked well for amplifiying sound.
What I don't like about the Walker's Game Ear II Game Ear II: Unit was too sensitive for windy conditions in dry brush with dried leaves. After using for only a half hour the unit failed to function at all the next time I tried to use it and had to be shipped back to Walker's for repair. Is easily lost as it doesn't stay on well without a face mask or something to keep it on your ear.
Hunting Gear Misc Game Ear II quality: Since it failed after a half hour of use, I would say the quality and construction stinks.
Game Ear II summary: After paying $200 dollars for a half hour of use, Walker's wanted another $60 to repair the unit. Plus shipping and handling. Very poor customer service! They had the unit for two months before contacting me about the repairs and charges, and then only after I e-mailed with an inquiry. I would not recommend them or their product!
