Stealth Cam DIGRC-C Trail Cameras (m-s)
Trail Cameras (m-s) Manufacturer: Stealth Cam
Stealth Cam Model: DIGRC-C
Review Category: Trail Cameras (m-s)
Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I bought this item at a local sports shop. I paid 298.99 for it. i wanted a digital trail camera because the cost of processing film on 35 MM cams.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam DIGRC-C Trail Cameras (m-s): I like the fact that I can view the pictures at home without processing pictures I don't need.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam DIGRC-C: The unit has a terribly slow triggering device and misses more pictures than it gets. It uses 6 AA Batteries and eats them like candy. The lock tangs are weak and I have one broken. Complicated setup and unhandy, having to open and close, back and forth, to setup. Doesn't flash far enough for the extremely slow trigger.
Trail Cameras (m-s) DIGRC-C quality: The unit will take pictures of wildlife. They work best after one learns different placement techniques.
DIGRC-C summary: I don't use this camera as much as I wanted too, or as much as I had planned to, because of it's poor performance. I plan to purchase the battery pack for the stealth cam so I can afford to use it. Bottom line is that I plan to someday get a cuddeback capture with infer red. Friends of mine who have experienced similar problems with their cams tell me I won't be satisfied till I get a Cuddeback.
