Purchase: Hunting Boots I found this boot in the Cabelas Bargain Cave online for $129, I didn't want to buy boots online without trying them on so I went to my local Bass Pro Shop who matched the Cabelas price.
Things I like about the Danner Vanish GTX with Scent-Lok Hunting Boots: These are the most comfortable boots out of the box I have ever had. They are like wearing my favorite pair of running shoes. I hunt in very rugged areas with lots of rocks, these boots keep my feet comfortable and warm day after day while my hunting partners are complaining about sore feet.
What I don't like about the Danner Vanish GTX with Scent-Lok: Nothing.
Hunting Boots Vanish GTX with Scent-Lok quality: This is my 4th pair of Danners and they have all the quality I come to expect from the Danner brand.
Vanish GTX with Scent-Lok summary: I was issued my first pair of Danners (Ft Lewis) while stationed in Alaska. I haven't worn any other brand of boot since. My last pair lasted me 10 years of hard hunting, in fact, I could still wear that pair right now and they are comfortable and waterproof, but they do look a little rough. For comfort, the Vanish GTX's are the best value out there in my opinion.
