Remington Genesis Black Powder
Black Powder Manufacturer: Remington
Remington Model: Genesis
Review Category: Black Powder
Purchase: Black Powder I bought my Genesis muzzle loader online from Cabelas. I had gone to the store in Owatanna, MN to purchase, but they had sold out after they were put on sale with the $35 rebate from Remington. I bought the Genesis because Southeastern MN only allows shotgun slugs or muzzle loaders during deer season. I also really like Remington rifles for there quality, performance, and have been shooting them for years. The Genesis is a great muzzle loader for the price. I paid $144 for the camo/blued version and with the rebate, that is $109 for an exceptional gun.
Things I like about the Remington Genesis Black Powder: The Genesis feels good in my hands, it is easy to shoot, easy to clean, easy to take apart, and it is really a nice looking muzzle loader.
What I don't like about the Remington Genesis: There is really nothing I don't like about my Genesis.
Black Powder Genesis quality: Like I said earlier, it feels good in my hands and when I shoot it. It is put together well and is easy to disassemble and clean. And it is a Remington, which is my favorite gun manufacture.
Genesis summary: For the quality and price, you cannot beat the Remington Genesis. It looks as good as any muzzle loader that is twice or three times its price. It is really a good handling, nice looking gun. I have not shot too many muzzle loaders, but I believe this one will perform up to any level of a much more expensive one.
