Purchase: Rifle Scopes I was looking for a good piece of glass to mount on my coyote rig, something with a lower power for close range/bush hunting, but also something with some magnification for those furthur critters. While looking I stumbled across the Burris brand, who manufacture the Fullfield II line of hunting scopes. After some research on the ballistic plex reticle offered by Burris, I new this was the scope for my 22-250. I found my scope on Ebay, purchased for a total of about $360 CDN from an American Ebay Online Store.
Things I like about the Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 mm with Ballistic Plex Reticle Rifle Scopes: Probably the best feature on the FFII would be the plex reticle. With my rifle, I sight in the x hairs for 200 yard shots, which is just over an inch high at 100. For longer shots, just hold over with the hash marks on the plex reticle representing longer and longer distances. Just this past weekend I managed to take a coyote on top of a bale with a 505 yard shot with the help from the plex reticle feature!
What I don't like about the Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 mm with Ballistic Plex Reticle: The only thing I disliked, was that I had to shim the scope in order to get it sighted in. In all not an overly difficult process, but it did take some experimenting to get it level and sighted appropriately.

Burris has found a way to offer top of the line products for a fraction of the cost, which in todays market means more than just a great product at an even greater price, it means more cash for the average hunter/shooter to use for....well hunting and shooting!
