Things I like about the Berkeley Fireline Fishing Line: This is nice line and easy to tie and doesn't seem to backlash like mono.
What I don't like about the Berkeley Fireline : Several times last season, this line simply parted or broke without any tension. I can find no reason for the break, just came apart while trolling or reeling in.
Fishing Line Fireline quality: The quality appears to be good with the exception that it just breaks or comes apart for no reason.
Fireline summary: I like the feel of the line on graphic rod. Very sensitive and much less likely to snarl or backlash. I will be looking, however, for line that doesn't just come apart for no reason. It does require very sharp scissors to cut and, most of the time, the strength is fantastic. I may have got hold of some factory damaged line or poor production quality but I don't think I quite trust this line
