Purchase: Fishing Reels This was my second saltwater reel and it is definetly an inprovement from the first. It is ultra smooth and is the finest piece of fishing equiptment I have ever had.
Things I like about the Cabelas Salt Striker Spinning Reel XK-316449 Fishing Reels: This reel is ultra smmoth. With 10 ball bearings, reeling in large fish is a breeze. Sometimes you will actually need to watch out when using lures to make sure that your not giving the lure to fast of an action. It is also very corrosion resistant. I have this reel for 6 years and it is still working good as new. There is no rust or even any sign of corrosion. If you ask me thats pretty good for someone that fishes over three quarters of the year.
What I don't like about the Cabelas Salt Striker Spinning Reel XK-316449 : The handle for the shaft is plastic but you can always get a rubber one.

Salt Striker Spinning Reel XK-316449 summary: This is an amazing piece of equptment that just cannot be beat as far as quality goes. The construction makes casting and reeling a breeze. The 10 ball bearings give the edge to the fisher man. The line roller is titanium plated ensuring no corrosion. The three-piece machined aluminum spool with a titanium lip produces extended casting distances. A Hydro Shield multi-disc front drag system adjusts quickly and keeps out water and debris.
