remington ghost camera Trail Cameras (m-s)

Trail Cameras (m-s) Manufacturer: remington
remington Model: ghost camera
Review Category: Trail Cameras (m-s)

Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) i bought this unit at dicks sporting goods. i wanted to take pictures of the deer coming into my back yard and where i hunt. i paid around 110.00 for it.

Things I like about the remington ghost camera Trail Cameras (m-s): it has flash and infrared.the price is reasonable for what you get.its easy to program.it shows all the info you need at the bottom of the photo date/time/temp/location.detection range seems to be pretty good.taken around 300 photos and 6 days later battery life is still near full charge.in my opinion lcd screen is fairly large and easy to read.

What I don't like about the remington ghost camera : when you power the unit off the clock stops when you power back up you have to reset it.ir mode pictures are a little blurry at 20 feet or more.Pictures on box are deceiving, little bit of color but most are black and white.narrow detection width on sensor, have to be directly in front of it for it to detect movement.if something is walking by, it will be out of photo range before picture is taken .trigger speed is a little slow 3to10 sec.depending on which mode its in.Pictures don't look like what a 5MP camera should take more like a 1or2MP.the longest you can set the time in between pictures is 2 min.

Trail Cameras (m-s) ghost camera quality: construction is plastic but seems to be durable quality is OK

ghost camera summary: i feel like the camera is worth the money. if i buy another one i will spend more money and go with a better camera that takes better pictures and has a wide sensor detection, with a trigger speed around 1 to 2 secs.they should give you longer time options in between photos so you don't get a lot of the same deer while they are feeding. this is a good camera to put in front of a feeder or scrape but not a trail trigger speed is to slow.
